Can you buy lower seat rails that fit the stock seats?

Im 6'6" and while i have have plenty of leg room I'm required to sit with my head tilted a bit forward so that my head won't be against the roof (where it dips lower near the back). Im actualy pretty comfortable in my current seating posistion (spend 2 hours a day in traffic and don't mind it) but I have safety concerns incase i were to get rear ended. If that were to happen instead of my head and neck going back against the headrest, the top of my head would hit the roof and god knows what would happen to my neck.

I have been researching the super low Bride and Nagisa seat rails but i can't find any info as to whether they fit the stock seats; which i would like to keep as opposed to aftermarket seats. Im planning on getting some custom leather from leatherseats.com and would like to do it all at once.

I dont think the Bride Rails will fit the stock seats, sounds like you are gonna have to get some aftermarket seats with the low rails.

If they do new leather, is it not possible to lose some of the foam and stuff in the seat. Should get you a bit closer to mother eath ?1?

Onno ( 6'6.5" / 2.01m, sitting OK as long as I do not let my hair grow too long)

Stumpy05, how did you eventually solve this? I am 6'2" and I'd like to lower my seats to see high traffic lights better as well as to see the traffic stopped to the right of me (right now my mirror blocks them).

My brother owns a Saturn Sky Redline and I have heard that he can lower his seats by 2" and maintain adjustability or 4" and have them stuck in position. I wonder if the same options are open for us in our 350z's? The 350z is the first car I've owned that I cannot reach the peddles well if I have the seat all the way back. I'll slip off the clutch sometimes like this. So I'd have to be very careful to lower the seats in a stuck position. Also, I'd have to make most of my friends stop driving it as they aren't as tall as me.
