Hey Everyone, I have a 2003 350z Ethu with 156,000Mi. I Recently had a compression test done on my car and the Values were all around the 153Psi. I believe these values to be very low. Does anyone know what hte values are suppose to be?

Much Thx

compression is supposed to be around 185-190, that is for a fairly new engine, you have 156k miles, man that is a lot

the manual says minimum should be 142 so you are within the wear tolerances, it is expected to go down with time and it is ok as long as the compression is similar across all cylinders

if you are not having any issues keep driving, I would not do anything harsh like boost it, just enjoy it you probably have another 50k before worrying about rebuild

Yeah, I'm not surprised that the Miata beat you. I bet it would beat a good deal of the NA Z's on this site.

Sounds like you might want to do some tune-up type stuff like air filter, plugs, throttle body and plenum cleaning, etc.

to start i have a 2003 350z automatic wiht a tiptronic trans, when i start to accerate in either auto or tip i have lots noise and rpm's but no power to the tires. i have a AEM Cold Air Intake, Full exhaust not catback (4.5"), and for tires 245/35R19F & 275/35R19R. when i tried to race the miata it was a rolling start at 40mi/h @ 4500RPM and i dropped out at 87mi/h when he hit 125mi/h
