Hi guys,

Hope you did enjoy the first day of the lovely weekend... I did enjoy my first day washing/polishing up my cars... :)

I am using Zymol which is very easy to use... I did 2 layers of polish protection on each car (no sweats!) - 350z (2003) and a toyota echo (2000)... they turned out to be beautifully nice... and amazingly it only took me 4 hours to wash and polish both cars in the morning before my lunch!!!

For guys who are like me who only wash their cars whenever they get dirty should give this product a try... it is really easy and painless to use compare to Zaino which I only used it once before I stopped because it is just simply too time consuming for me, but great product too though!!

Here are a some photos taken today and I do find out that darker colour car does turn out to be shinnier than a silver colour car and it shows better mirror image everywhere no matter which angle you look at it...

Enjoy your weekend and those photos!

cheers,

richie

nice! but i advise you to go with Zaino. it is the best out there. i have seen better shine. the silver color you have has a shine, but its not enough. i see that it worked better on the darker color echo. Zaino will do it right on all colors.

nice job though....

get zaino

I have seen some siick shines with Zaino, but it's not the only product out there. I'm a strong believer of the Meguires line of products for results and ease of use. Zaino simply isn't very user friendly, and takes all weekend to apply. For example.. Meguires shine:

wow....beautiful
you are right about Zaino, its a long application.but for the time it takes it is more lasting than any other product out there. i can see the results on Meguire, but it lasts for a short period of time.

good to see u getting out the elbow grease Rich

re the time consuming aspect, in the long run Zaino will take the least amount of effort as it will outlast the Zymol about 5 times over lol Which i think may suit u more since ur not into the waxing thing as much as others

heres a pic of Zaino shine on my old silver car, a bit more reflection i think than Zymol

Thanks for all the advices guys!!! I do not Zaino will out last Zymol... but for me, I don't wash the car that often, so Zymol will do for me at the moment.... I will never know if I have extra more time on my hands, I might give other products a try...

Sam:

That silver car really shines!!!! Good on you man!

+1...great looking Z, and an outstanding modification list. I really like the JDM Nismo side skirts.

I found that zaino does take a bit of time to put on and at the end of the day you feel like you have RSI in your whole arm. However nothing beats watching water beading off your car and knowing that hardly anything will stick onto the paint. Also the surface is like glass and is so smooth that I think I mite get into trouble for molesting my car from touching it so much!

Yet it is hard to get a wet look on a silver car and I found it wasn't until 5-6 coats that you will start getting that look.

i would have to note something i noticed. Zaino works best on dark colors. i have a Silverstone, and i noticed that the car gets darker with Zaino application. and brings out the real texture of the paint. plus Zaino is very easy to remove under sunlight and works great on glass.
