Hello everyone,

I know that the 35th Annev. limited edition is not a news anymore in the States as everyone is expecting it to come out very soon.... and it has all the revised pistons, con-rod, better cams, larger wheels, different interior and the rev of 7000 rpm ability (and most likely with xenon lights?)... and we probably all think that it is only exclusive to the US of A market....

Here are a few photos that I found on the internet... this brochure is printed in Japanese!!!! and I guess they will have this in Japan as well then.... that means..... Nissan Aussie might be using THIS model as the face lift (only a few updates and call it a face lift?!) for the zed since there is a "significant change" inside and out?!

If that happens to come out, will our current zed price drop significantly?

cheers,

richie

Am i missing something?

Arent all 350z's made in Japan? Meaning that if USA gets one it had to come from Japan and its Nissan's 35th anniversary (Japanese company) so why wouldnt Japan get it?

Japan gets all the cool versions of all the Japanese cars, I dont think we can draw any conclusions from this.

Yeah, prices always go up on most new or special editions.
I hope you didn't buy your zed hoping it would make you some money?
It is vary rare these days that any car appreciates in value!

Any new or updated models usually help sell more cars & therefore make the model more popular thus easier to sell in the long run.

yeah.. think you guys are correct.... the 35th ann. edition price gotta be more than the regular zed...

nah... I am not hoping the zed will appreciate... all my cars depreciate... especially the high performance ones... it is just that the market is too small for those cars...

I reckon Nissan Oz will keep flogging the current Touring / Track / Roadster models for at least 2005. Pricing of the Z against other sports cars in our market is a little on the higher end of the scale (compare to RX8, Monaro etc), so I doubt that Nissan would have the confidence to import another model Z at a higher price still.
This may happen later to counter the faster new Monaro but not for a while yet.

Frosty was that GTR in Speed Mag. I hear that John Bowe drove and assessed the Z in the latest issue.

The new GTR will cost you $100,000+ plus your first born.

Hi richie, today I saw a 350z almost identify to yours parked on St. Kilda rd in front of the computer shop around 7:00pm, One second I though was you, but hand on a second, you told me the engine is not yet fitted to your car......:p anyway, we should catch up sometime after your car fixed, maybe another curise for Melbourne 350z group would be good. how about Great Ocean Road, you and DavidC will be the leader this time, I think.

Do you have any plans on shortening the runners in the lower plenium to boost your power at the top end? That is one of the changes in the 2005 Track.

I will see how that can be done.... or are those plenums the same? if they are, we might just buy the newer one later to get more HP.

cheers,
