hey all!

i'd just like to introduce myself as i am new to the forums. its a great pleasure to be apart of the 350Z-tech community here, being surrounded by alot of great people in the 'know'. i've been surfing around the site since nov last year and havent posted until now. a big shout out to all the ozzie Z drivers down under too. especially dudes residing in melbourne.

just recently had my exhaust system replaced with an APS cat back dual system, but recently noticed a slight increase in the fuel consumption. would appreciate some advice if anyone could offer some help, if this is typically normal when installing a high output system.

Also thanks to the boys and peter at APS. couldnt get any better service anywhere.

just also curious if anyone could tell me if by installing/modifying an exhaust system, would that void the warranty completely? or void the warranty in relation to the mod with regard?

thanks and cheers to everyone in the community

first off :welcome:!! i will have to say that we have the biggest aussie forum for 350z on the net, so be sure to check it out. as far as your warranty being voided, i dont think it would. nissan will have to prove that the cause of your cars failure or engine parts were due to the exhaust. Now for your gas consumption, just lay off of the pedal a bit, cause i know you want to hear it!

:welcome: to the boards and glad you finally spoke up!!!!! Jaysen is right, it won't void your warrantly unless they can specifically say that the exhaust directly caused the problem...which it won't....glad you have had great experiences w/ Peter, he is def. the best, had the pleasure of meeting him in person at an ECZA meet...the dude knows his stuff for sure! Stick around, you'll love it here now :postpics: Let's see that baby Z of yours, or I will say baby Zed for ya!

thanks for the big welcome guys...appreciate it. JT and jinxxy...thanks for being the first ones to welcome me. i was eventually going to speak out, but didnt know when. good thing i got my mod installed. the timing coudlnt be any better.

jinxxy, ive got sum pics of my zed, but i dont know if its worth posting. its pretty much stock except for the exhaust. not worth showing anything unless i make any cosmetic changes to my car. which shouldnt be too long.

but anyway...heres a pic, for the curious at heart.
