Thanks for your comments Jinxxy.

The wheels are RH J8s in gunmetal/graphite.

A shop called Al's Tinting is where most people on this rock take to get tint. In Hawaii, 35% is legal. Also, we can have on the front windshield as long as 30%+ light comes through. One day I plan on having the ceramic up front. Too bad it costs about $250.

I went with 20% on my SB. I know it's not the same color, but I definitely don't regret it. I like dark tint, but I do like being able to see through my windows, unlike the guys with 5%.

Check what's legal in your area and go with that, just so you can avoid getting pulled over for it. 30% is the limit here, but you can get away with 15 or 20%.

35% is legal here so I went with that on my SB. It's lighter than I would have liked but it's WORLDS better looking than with no tint. Even if you get "slight" tint it'll make your car look better IMO.

If you actually read the PA laws there is nothing that states what percentage is legal for tinting. It only states that you need to be seen through the front, side or back window. I am quoting that you can look it up! The cops just try to look for a reason to pull you over!

Hey stu, who was your vendor for the ceramic tint? It looks really good. I think any tint looks great on a Z, my friend Cathy has I think 20% on a chrome silver and it looks really really good. Too bad it's illegal in PA, hubby won't let me tint her for that very reason :headshake: maybe he needs :poke:

When I got mine tinted past the legal limit, I think 20%, the guys at the shop told me about one bike cop in a neighboring city that was a dick about tint. They said other than that guy being a wang they have had no other customers have any problem, even with limo tint.

In oregon btw, but ask your shops if they've had to remove any tint that they have put on to keep people out of fines. And I've had no problems with the legal limit being 35%. The darker the better, limo tint is a stretch tho...
