Well, earlier last year i had to replace my driver side window control because it went out. window actually works better now than it did when i bought the car new. reason i know this is my passenger door windo is slow as ****. seems like ti is straining to go up or down, and actually dims my lights at times. what do you think, something screwiy goin on or what? Thing is that did nto start until the other window was replaced. Being as busy as I am i rarely get the chance to swing by the dealer and have it checked out. I guess i am asking has anyone else encountered this phenomenon with their Z

sounds like a bad motor in the passenger side.. it is drawing alot of current and dimming your lights.. not sure how this could be related to the replacement of the other one though

thing is, the other window did not start acting up until they replaced the driver one with the new motor. i should just get off of my lazy butt and just go to the dealer.

I've had my motors changed few times , both sides .. just keep bugging your dealership to replace it...

I had problems withmy previous Z and needed the drivers side window motor replaced. On the current Z I have Im getting some weird streaks on the driver side window and it makes loud noises as the window comes up or down. On the passengers side, when you are accelerating you hear like a loose spring rattling inside the door from the window motor area. I was going to take it to the dealer to have it replaced but from previous experience on the other Z I dont want to since they never got the door panels to look right again. Ever since they change dth motor the paneld where woobly. Luckily I traded that car.

update. well i have to go and get the dealer to work on the passenger window motor now, sucker is in the up position and will not lower at all. just what happened with the driver's side. glad it is still under warranty

steve i had the same thing happen to mine as well. took it in and they replaced the diver side motor

I just had my pass side motor replaced. They f'ed up a couple of pieces of my door and they are going to replace them IF I ever get back up there lol The drivers side motor is still good tho, go up and down in synch at the same time. The thing that I noticed is that the new motor doesn' t drop the window as far down when opening and closing, it's like 1/4 inch but it clears so I am not going to complain.
