well i washed my car today and noticed that my rims have this off white color in certain areas, i tried to polish it and cant get it off. it looks liek ****, anybody have any recommendations on what to try next?

Can you post pics? Have you tried waxing it? Maybe that 3M adhesive cleaner I spoke of might help. It's safe on clear coats.

Are your rims powdercoated/painted/cleared????

What kind of cleaner did you use? Some of the harsher wheel cleaners can cause hazing if left on too long. Tell us more, do you have pics you can post???

no wheel cleaner was used, just soap and water adn zaino detailer spray. i am goign over joshs in a bit to poilish it out, so ill keep you posted

the spots did not polish out.. looks like some heavy duty chemicals got sprayed on there.. clear coat is foggy..

i took it back and they are having me meet with a wheel company this week for them to look at it, i am gonna try to get them to replace the whole rim!!

Did you try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on it? That s**t works great on stuff like that. Let me know how it went with the wheel people. they may charge you a lot and they'll use the Eraser and nothing more.
