1.a FAQ for 350z modifications. like something I could print out which has a detailed listing of mods and what they do, performance gains, recommended parts, ets

i want to know this.i am new... just got my 350 touring two days ago.







2. Is it just me or it seems to me as if a lot of the z tuners dont do much to performance, maybe a bolt on or two. they do mostly show mods. it seems like it when i read the people's sigs and their mods

There are a lot of people who have done a lot of mods to their cars on here and other boards, but unless you are going F/I on your Z dont expect much of a gain. You can do every bolt on imaginable from full exhaust, intake, lightened flywheel, pulleys, even doing cams, ect and still only get 50 or so hp after having spent 5k or more on everything. The Z's engine from the factory was already tweaked very well and is difficult to get power out of. I dont know of maybe but one person who has broken the 300hp at the wheels N/A barrier yet.

There are some people who are like walking encyclopedias around these Z sites. Everybody has an opinion or personal experience which they are more than happy to share with you. They can also direct you to more information. I find that searching for the answer to a question helps me learn a lot of extra info, such as different resource sites, problems or parts I didn't know existed, or finding an answer to another question.

There is no real definitive 'list' for everything you asked about. I don't think even Nissan North America can do that. :lol:

you could do a basic FAQ, and add the stuff on it that does not work so another person does not go out and waste hard earned money
