When I had my SLK I changed everything and it sounded much much better, but read some posts mentioning that changing the rear speakers is a waste. Is this true? Can I just swap the rear 10" with a nice kenwood or something? One post said to just do the front and disconnect the rears. Is the Bose head unit atleast decent for sound quality or if I change the head unit will my sound improve drastically? Right now it sound so hollow with cheesy bass response. Can I swap out the Bose amp or is it like Bose in my old Legend with little amps for the different speakers? I'm sorry to put such basic questions, but didn't see where I can just read about the stock setup to answer most of these questions. I have a convertable so not sure if that makes a difference. I notice the hatchback pics showing the bass speakers open cavity toward the rear, but don't think the convertable is like that. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanx
Jeff
