I just signed for a '05 enthusiast. I love track days, and had a miata that would corner with theb ets of them...just a little slow on the straights. What suspension upgrades would be best for the track? (I live in Berkeley, Ca, and the roads are in decent condition)

*My compnay is leasing this car, so I'm planning on keeping the stock suspension and reinstalling it just before the lease is up. (is there any concern with this?)

how much money do you want to spend is the real question...

if you dont want to spend much, then get springs and sway bars.

The next step up would be springs/sways/shocks

If you want to go all out then get coilovers and sway bars.

We are working on a database of all the parts that outlines the detailed specs for easy side by side comparisons

I should keep $ low...what's a good set of springs/shocks and sway bars go for? I'll probably do the install. I want lowest price for something that works well...I don't car about brand name or looks.

The Hotchkis sways are reasonably priced and three way adjustable front & rear.

Hotchkis swaybars are very inexpensive and perform very well.

They also sell a spring/swaybar package that is innexpensive as well

Wow! thanks for the info...the Hotchkis sway bar/spring set looks great on price- How much difference would sport struts make compared to the OEM ones? Any good deals on a sway bar, spring, and strut combo (coilovers are out of my price range...)

Thanks guys!

**I'm picking the car up this Saturday in Seattle and will be driving it down on Sunday to Berkeley...I can't wait!
