I know of a few people that have probably bought or have considered buyingTein springs on Ebay. With Tein putting out the message about fakes going around, i saw this happen to someone else on another forum. They had bought these off of ebay to save a few bucks. here is one of those online stores selling them. they even got pictures of the fakes on the advertisement:

so avoid Atomic Street

just a couple of quick searches turned up these for the Z:

though they try to claim "picture shown my not be for your specific vehicle" clearly after looking at the Tein website, these are fake as ****.


just remember, when i doubt, sometimes it is better to not take a shortcut and spend the few extra dollars. your car and your life is not worth the "savings"

yeah, though the original post is close to two year old you still see these crap springs popping up on ebay.

There is always going to be counterfeit merchandise on Ebay. Just make sure you do your research, and buy from a reputable seller, or store.
