Nice wheels, as are many products from Volk. The LE37 Top Secret wheels look similar to the early NISMO 350Z wheels. Not sure how valuable they are, but take good care of them as replacements are hard to find.
your right they look like my wheels on my 04 I was told the nismos were $1500 a piece new?Nice wheels, as are many products from Volk. The LE37 Top Secret wheels look similar to the early NISMO 350Z wheels. Not sure how valuable they are, but take good care of them as replacements are hard to find.
Thanks for all the info. I’ll look more into the marking but I believe you are right on the size. Currently running 275s in front and 285s in the back so the 9.5 and 10.5 width seems right. They have been through a lot in the past 20 years so obviously not in perfect condition by any means anymore. Does anyone recommend getting them refinished?Volk LE37s were a limited edition (hence, "LE") version of the TE37. They were available in only 2-3 color combinations (Gold, Gunmetal and a 3rd, can't remember). Structurally the same as TE37, forged monoblock (one piece). Strong, lightweight, fairly rare as they weren't (supposedly) "officially" imported out of Japan (but that's obviously not true). Discontinued 15+ years ago. Fitment on Zs was typically 19x9.5 +22F and 19x10.5 +22R. Yours "look" like that sizing. But to confirm, you can look carefully at the back of the wheels. In the absence of the stickers that are usually affixed to the barrel (but probably have worn off), they will have some markings on the wheel itself to confirm sizing/offset. (Or, if you really want to know, measure the width and offset. Personally, I'd hang on to those. Very desirable wheels.
One of the features of the LE37, IIRC, was the polished lip. If you are considering refinishing them, start with polishing the lip. If that turns out well, then it's worth it to restore the rest. Sometimes polished lips don't refinish that well due to pitting or salt damage (or...). Get yourself some polish, a conical buffer and have at it. Worst case, you'll have a nice set of polished lips. Thanks for all the info. I’ll look more into the marking but I believe you are right on the size.
