This video is of my 03 6MT with JWT popcharger and Borla true-dual exhaust. This was on 91 octane, So Cal heat, and a Dyno Dynamics dyno (which is why the #'s seem low compared to most Dynojet/Mustang postings). I'm satisfied with my smooth power curve but might need to seek out a fluffer dyno to boost my ego. :helpsmilie: Best run was 219.5whp. Dyno chart in the vid...hit pause.

A stock non-revup 05 hit 210whp on this dyno so in theory my intake/exhaust bumped me about 10whp. I don't think that's unreasonable.

Oh, and there's an APS TT run towards the end (past my boring stuff) that's more interesting.

Hope someone finds this interesting.

One of the best dyno's out. No fluff needed, only REAL data. Dynojet and Mustangs users will feel really bad when we show them our charts after spanking them. "But, my charts says I have xxx rwhp and yours is so much lower. How can this be?"
I just had my z on a dyno dynamics and I got 231rwhp. I have JWT, Nismo exhaust, plenum spacer, and don't forget the grounding kit (I'm sure that was it). 81+ degrees, 80,000 miles, '04 track. I think intake temp was 145 degrees.
Looking at adding a Haltech, with a tune it should get me close to 250. I might be able to test one out within the next month or two.

popcharger can actually cost some hp.... intake temp of 145 for famous's seems very high. Be curious to know the stock intake temp would be.... After all, they say 10deg. F can make about .5-1% difference in hp. So outside aiflow temp of 90 deg maybe up to 100 after mild heat soak could make a 8-10hp difference? Something to consider

If that's the case, I wonder what causes such a dramatic power loss from the factory rated 287hp to something so low as 210 or 220. That's just crazy. We should be seeing more in the range of 235 to 245 for a stock VQDE.

I still remember my first dyno which I believe was on a dynojet.

Dynos, all makes, should be used as tuning tools not bragging rights.
