I recently purchased a 2004 Roadster and found this part in the trunk. I think it goes beside the radiator somewhere? I would appreciate any help

While I don't have a ZR myself, I'd suggest jacking up your car and look at missing parts near the front (near radiator) or rear bumper. There should be matching parts that easily line up with the holes in the part pictured. They use plastic push pins as blind rivets to hold everything in place. Should be easy to spot.

Yeah did that, looked everywhere. Found a similar piece hanging by one clip, was able to reach back and around and put in the second clip by feel, couldn't see it from below or above.

I dont want to take front body work apart to re-attach this part if I don't have to.

The front bumper cover is not difficult to remove and is worth learning how to do so. Five plastic rivets on top, two 10mm bolts on each fender and the bottom undertray. I suggest all Z33 owners buy a packet of those plastic blind rivets from Amazon to replace the ones that get lost or broken when doing common repairs like this.
