Hello people,

I have a Unichip for sale.... The buyer can save quite a lot on it as I am selling it for a lot less than what you need to pay for when it's new. If anyone is interested in the unichip, give me a PM and we can talk about the price....

You just need to get it retuned at any APS dealer, I think re-tune will cost around 150 dollars if I am not wrong if you are still using it on the 350Z!

Is the unichip a plug-in, ie, is it easily removed for Nissan service (warranty) or is it spliced in (ie) harder install de-install.
Do you know how much it would cost to get it installed?
What type of gains?

You don't need to splice the original wiring if you get the APS wiring loom....

Why would you want to remove it for Nissan service anyway? they will never be able to know the existing of the UniChip if they never open the compartment underneath passenger side airbag... and I think it can be removed very easily as well... I think the installation and the tuning will cost you around 150 to 200 I would say... you can check with your closest Unichip dealer.... and you are expecting to gain around 10kw+ at the rear wheel...

hello jim,

I believe that APS provides a year warranty on the item though... but same as the rest of the APS products, they will not warrant the engine or electronics on the car...

THat's fine with the question... no problem at all.

Unichip runs very well and loved to have it on.... just that I have done the nismo s1 engine and even the standard ECU cannot cope with those cam changes (no reflash for me) at idle... so I am using Motec m600 to take over the entire engine management system at the original ECU...

Selling it for 400 dollars because I think it is a reasonable price since it is a 2nd hand item and you will need to pay around 150 to get it retuned to suit your car.... but still.... with 550, that's like less than half of what you have to pay when new...

After visiting Autotech and getting the APS exhaust system installed, they mentioned getting the Unichip to A/F ratios, as the car is running very rich. As I have only done 747km in the car (yep had it for 2 weeks) I wanna give the current ECU a chance to smarten up it's own setting as I am going on a trip to Brisbane.

Should the Unichip still be available in a week, and car still runs too rich, I will buy it and the A/F ratios tuned.
