Majority, actually all of the under the strut box are all sealed.
Any comments/suggestions or opinions regarding going with a 10" sub under the strut and box is ported.

It all depends. What 10"? How much power? What volume? Are you going for SPL or SQL?

Basically you get advantages and disadvantages of sealed versus ported with any box anywhere. The box under the strut bar lends itself better for most applications being sealed.

And remember sealed boxes are much easier then ported.

Sealed boxes also have a much tighter bass sound. A ported box is going to be a very sloppy sound. Ported boxes are good for SUV's, but if you are making something to go under your strut bar, then a sealed box will sound a lot better.
