hey guys i have a 2003 350z touring that has had some problems with the transmission ive changed out the 1st one because i had problems with 3rd gear grinding only when i push it from 2nd and slam it into 3rd, but now i have about 5k miles on this transmission and when i shift to 2nd 3rd and 5th just driving normally it kinda feels really wierd when going in its not smooth like 4th and 6th, but sometimes when i shift to 2nd i hear a really wierd noice it might be grinding but it doesnt really sound like it should i take my car to the dealership again or is this normal?

if it is under warranty i say definately go. or ask them first, they shouldnt re-charge you for a problem that they didnt fix the first time.

The new transmission should have it's own warranty...yes? Call the service manager and explain the problem...set up an appointment and they should address the issue. Good luck ...

I had the same problem w/ my car......their replacing the tranny and the clutch disc.
