i hear you....i turn mine off all the time unless i am driving in the rain. i wouldn't want to totally disable this feature though but it would be nice not to have to constantly turn it off
Found out what logical state it's in (high or low) when it's off and tie it to that logic.
i.e. Tie it to GND or +5v. Easiest and cheapest way.
