Does anyone have photo's of the rear under body diffusers advertised on the TRACK model? I've got a Touring and I'm curious what these diffusers look like.
If anyone is wondering what it does , here's the answer...
The diffusers , along with the front chin , and the rear spoiler , lower the coefficient of drag ( .29 for the Track , .30 for the other models )..

Thanks for all of the info and photo's...that's some heavy marketing by Nissan. I thought I'd see some panels covering the whole underside of the car...guess not!
well , I think that if it didint make any difference , it wouldnt be on a track model , but I dont think there would be enough difference for you to feel the difference..
I do have to agree with Jason on that one. If you are seriously tracking your car then they may be worth the extra money. Besides that better to put your money elsewhere
its like someone debaiting between cams and rims... you are looking at about the same price with tires as cams installed... your not going to get much out of the cams but you are going to get alotta looks when you look at your car when you get in and out
I think you're better off removing the metal bracket (which probably costs nissan more to make than the diffusers!) and save 2 lbs for free, than you are spending $72.
I'm kinda surprised how many extra parts my Z has.... These, the speaker bracket for the Bose speaker (that I don't have), the wire/cable trays on the right hand part of the car (for use in the right hand drive Zs)... I think I could take off almost enough parts to make up for the weight I've added in stereo equipment...

Are you serious? Nissan actually placed unnecessary wiring in the U.S. Z's? Insane...how did you find that? Looks like I'll have more than enough time this winter to go through the Z and remove some parts.
not really. at least not for the price they want for them. i think the difference is like .1 or so i drag coefficiency or something like that. might make a difference in higher speeds of say 60mph or more during highway use
And that goes out the window if you have changed your exhaust to one that does not have the stock diffuser and flat bottom resonator. At that point who knows what the air is doing under there.
