I purchased some factory 18 inch chrome wheels that had the TPS monitors installed. Does anyone know if the TPS will work on my 2003 touring navigation with 5 speed automatic?

Since the 5AT Touring came stock with 17s, I don't know if the ECU is programmed to handle the TPMS from 18s

The trip computer on the Base and Enthusiast models don't have a screen for it. And my guess is adding sensors won't enable a hidden screen

If you press the top of the two buttons on the right of the speedometer, you can cycle through screens. But in the non-TPMS equipped trims, there's no screen to display the tire pressure. I don't think adding sensors will make that screen show up all of a sudden. I think either the car is programmed to display it or it isn't. But I could be wrong

I will check and see if I have that display. I thought i read somewhere the TPS was not available on the touring with 5AT.
I have not known of anyone who has a 5AT touring with TPS.

You won't have that display. All Zs that have 17s in stock form don't have the TPMS screen. That means only the Performance, Touring 6MT, and Track trims had it in 2003. I'm saying that because you don't have that screen now, I don't think you can ever get it

Thanks for confirming it. I can't remember why they could not install the TPS system in the automatic touring models.
