Hey I have a 9.5 wheel and right now i have 275 but thats a falken tire so its not fitting my wheel very good. I am planning on getting a wider tire. I am planning on going with a 285 maybe donlop tires, but does anyone have a 9.5 wheel with 285's?
i have 19" volk te37's bronze. 19x9.5 rear. i am waiting for some work vs-xx 19x11's. i had to buy new tires in the mean time because they were done for. so i bought the tires that will fit the 19x11s. they are 295/30/19s. they fit fine, although a little big. not that big of a deal though. the tires i had on the 19x9.5s were 275s though. that is the correct tire size for 19x9.5, unless you want to stretch a 265. hope this helps.
yes, i wished i had 11s too. te37's dont have much lip to begin with, so i'm upgrading to a 19x11 work vs-xx. they actually cleared customs on tuesday, and were shipped from my distributor on wednesday. we should see them on monday (my birthday!!!!!!). perfect present to myself...hehe. only waited 3 mos for them, not too bad, seeing that i've seen many people wait twice as long for wheels that were not as highly specialized.
that all depends on the manufacturer. they literally vary from $100-$250!!!! it's crazy. tire rack has a good selection, and, depending on which dealer you go through, most of them are only getting 10-15% off list. not much margin. i'm running continental sport compact 255/35/19 and 295/30/19. they came out to just over $1k, shipped. that's of course at a dealer price. you can expect to pay roughly 10% more than that if you are to order them yourself on tirerack.com.
