I am not a fan of mercedes.. their quality is going downhill, mercedes is rated lower than japanese cars as far as reliability

bimmers all the way.. take a look at an e46 m3.. i have one and its AMAZING!!! the only mistake i made was that i rushed out and bought one right away.. i should have waited, because i heard the new e56 m3 is suppose to have slightly over 400 hrsp. now thatz amazing from a straigh 6!!!! and the rest over $$$ buy ur self a yamaha r6 or and r1 and maybe the wife something also.
in my opinion buy ur self a dtm beat on it like a mad man and get ride of it in 4 years lol well thatz what i did and doing now.

But I would definately go the bimmer route if I were you. Im not much of a Mercedes fan. (except for the SL series) An M5 sounds about right.

my mom wants to upgrade from a 1998 3000gt to a 2005 slk350 or something similar to that roadster like the sl500. I dont know what to think, i think they are decent looking and classy, but at the same time im trying to push her to BMW. She just doesnt like m3 m5... they are too boxy she says. **** old people

bimmers all the way. first car i started driving in was a 2000 323i, my moms car. not the most power but still so much fun to drive. ive since driven an m3 and ridden in an m5 and they are the best cars for the price. get one of those instead of the mercedes benz.

i got to drive an slk a couple weeks ago..its a realllly fun little car, i think it looks a lot better thn the last one and has a lottt more punch. i dont no much about reliability though
