Hi , so i recently purchased an 08 350z base and it sucks that is open differential, but this guys is selling me the pumpkin off his 04 350z for $200 and said it is a oem Torsen LSD with 71k. So my question is, would it be a straight swap? would it actually let me get to do actual donuts if I tried and is it worth it?

First off, Nissan never offered the Z33 with a Torsen diff, so it's an aftermarket unit. The OEM 350Z came with either an open diff, like yours, or a VLSD, which uses different stub axles. So your seller will have to get his story straight, or you need to understand what you're buying.


As for whether it's worth it or not, only you can judge. I sure as **** wouldn't be buying a LSD if donuts are what you're after!
