I am about to fit supercharger to my 2004 350z track.some people have told me i must upgrade std extractors for custom performance extractors to get much better performance.Others have said the std manifolds are good and i will not gain much.Has anyone done supercharger and determined if std manifolds are okay?
Also i have annoying rattle in drivers side dash that yard has been unable to fix.Anyone had same and how was it fixed?

all the supercharger kits were designed on the stock engine w/ stock exhaust manifolds. You'll be fine without upgrading as it's not a must. If you go with aftermarket headers and open exhaust you'll lose boost until you get a shorter pulley to compensate for the more effecient scavenging. But in the end you'll make even more power from the added breathing characteristics and of course, more boost. It's not a matter of must, rather a matter of want.
