I wanted to post some teaser pictures of my new BBK with a write up coming soon!

Something for you to drool over until I get a chance to take better pictures and do a full write up.

Enjoy.

A picture of the installation down at MRC Motorsports. Props goes out to Mike and Matt for the help.

Now I can say that I have the fastest 350Z to come to a stop!

Well after driving around for a few days with my new brake kit all I can say is wow. What a difference. I have been giving them a workout on the highways slowing down at speeds of 100+ to around 40-50mph and they feel great with absolutely no headshake or fadding.

I can't wait until I get to work them out when autocrossing or HPDE.

The kit was put together very well with incredibly detailed instructions. It came with everything I needed and it was very easy to lay it out before installation. Each part fit together perfectly and there was only minimal cutting needed on the dust sheilds to allow for the oversize rotors.

This is by far one of my best mods yet and it looks great with my color scheme. I am really happy I made the switch from my previous BBK (Wilwoods) to Stoptechs. Everything looks like top quality and I can't wait to do a follow up as I get more driving time on them.

Feel free to post your opinions. Thanks.
NICE. I love the Stop Techs.
Wow, gotta make ya feel good to know your brakes are bigger in diameter than most people's rims are! lol What did that set run ya? j/c..

Also, any issues with the ABS function? Do you have VDC, and if so, was it affected?

I would tell you how much, but I am not allowed to. Lets just say that it was a nice discount with the sponsorship.

Also, there were no issues with the ABS so far, I haven't tried to lock up the brakes yet, but now that I think about it, it would probably be fun to see if I can lock them up. I have a performance model and I don't have any issues with the VDC.

These brakes really do the job when slowing me down, its fun to drive up to a stoplight while still going 40 mph and passing people who are starting to slow down way before me. Then before I come up to the white line I jam on the brakes to see what they are made of and instead, I end up giving myself an impression of my seatbelt on my chest.

Are you on the Ultimates?
No, what are the ultimates? If they are brake pads, then no, just the standard high performance street pads and the OE Porsche pads in the rear.
Nice Ray! I have been reading nothing but good stuff about the stop techs! :wavey:
WOW...that's like hit the brakes & the dirt comes up out of the carpet!

Off da hook!
Wow...they look great. I have the Stop Techs on my 300ZX. I plan on getting the Stop Tech kit after the first of the year from my 350.....
Look great Ray!
Thanks everyone. These brakes have been more than I could have ever imagined. They work awesome and I can't wait until I can give them a real workout on a track. Until then, slowing down off the highway is the only thing I have. I'll post an update early next year when I have more to say.

Very nice. How much weight does this kit add over the stock brakes?
