I run a stock wrecker engine in a Jimco offroad race car. It's currently pulling 537whp on just over one bar of boost. However given the boost control issues we have using ported garret GT2871 internal wastegates it's spiked on the race course to where we're pulling substantially more.... and I'm keen on testing that on the dyno (when money allows me to pop a little VQ)

The stocker has been more reliable and is easier to drive than the highly stressed Cosworth VQ engine that currently sits spread across most of my workshop.

Next move is to push mid 500's out of the stocker and if it blows I'll revert to the Cosworth VQ.... but for the moment the stocker puts out more than enough power for one **** of a big smile.

I run the ORANZ national series, CORC local and Southern Series of events (when I can afford to run the old girl).
We operate under the ORANZ sanctioning body (new Zealand) and their very loose ruling. Other than some simple safety rules it's run whatever you want.
