So just had to vent..
I ordered a cell phone battery for my Motorola V8160.. and Cellmods.com sends me the wrong battery. It fits in the phone, but is too tall to close the case around.. and does not power up the phone. Soo pretty much its useless.
So, I send an E-mail to the company stating that they sent me the wrong battery.. only to recieve this:
So, I write back, stating that I still need a battery. Sending back their incorrect product does not fix this. Not only that, but as usual, the shipping companies screw you and overcharge for shipping. The battery cost $6, shipping was like $8. So, does it make sense for me to ship it back? Obviously not.
I then sent another e-mail after he ignored my next one (asking for a phone number to call so I can complain in real-time lol) and guess what, still getting ignored.
Why is it that he can just send me the wrong product, and still get paid for it because its cost prohibitive to ship back and get my refund?? What if he just sent me a box full of air? I'd still be out with no way to fight it. Buying off the internet SUCKS.
Anyone know any good, reputable companies that I can get a battery from? Its been over a month now that I do not have a battery that holds charge for more than 2 hours..
