I recently bought a 2003 touring with the factory style lip. I want to replace this remin style with the double wing spoiler as shown:

Since they're both considered factory styles will they have the same mounting holes? And if not I would really appreciate a tutorial on cleanly making the holes or a spoiler that will fit.

It might be a good idea to post a picture of your "factory style" lip. The wing you are looking to purchase is clearly not a factory item but appears to be a reproduction of the Nismo wing from the early years of the Z. There is really no way of knowing if the mounting screws are the same.

It's a factory lip with most of the clear coat peeled off.

Having installed numerous rear spoilers/wings on cars,it is very doubtful that the holes used on
your OEM spoiler will fit the unit you are looking at. Some spoilers can be successfully mounted
using 3-M tape. I have done this with my Z. I had the same OEM spoiler as the OP has.
I replaced it with a Blitz style spoiler(IMO the best design for the Z). Since the Blitz has a
continuous mounting surface,3-M tape with adhesion promoter prime worked great. In addition,the
Blitz covered the OEM spoiler holes.
I may be wrong,but I believe the spoiler you are considering uses pedestal mounts(2) to the surface.
Not a continuous piece. If this is correct,I would strongly suggest using mounting bolts.Additionally,
the rear deck finisher panel only has a few openings to reach bolts. Seems that you would have to
remove the panel to drill the correct holes that attach the new spoiler. Most aftermarket spoilers
come with a template. So this is no big deal.
Hey,check out the Blitz. Looks like it came on the Z. The design is that good.
Easy install. got mine prepainted. Perfect match.
Took longer to remove the OEM spoiler and clean the surface than it did to install the Blitz.
