I have a brand new 04 Z enth. The speakers seem to break up at volume around 20-25 (which is not high at all). Is this a case of something loose, the speakers being crappy or bad connection? Common problem?
If it's what I think it is, it could be a newly added safety feature of the amp in the Z. If it is brand new there might be a break in period (power limitation) for the amp, as to not allow the speakers to receive too much power until they have been played at nominal volumes for 8-9 hours. Although this is highly unlikely due to the fact that the stock radio is a piece of sh*t (no offense, i own one also) and this methodology is typically reserved for high end equipment, it's still a possibility.
