What in thw world does sleeving mean??? :helpsmilie:

Basically the way I understand it is machining the cylinder walls to enlarge them and install the sleeves to make a stronger wall as oppossed to the block's original material and probably also maintain dimensions better than the stock block material.

Sleeving is machining the existing Cylinder walls out and pressing in a set of Steel "SLEEVES".It basically takes an open deck aluminum block and changes it to a solid deck steel block. It is a must for 600whp+..
