Last night at 3 am, highway completely empty..............

I've been itching for some adrenaline lately, and it came in the form of 3 2005 GSXR1000.

I saw them play around so I decided to join.. I caught up to them at 180 km/h and they slowed down to wait for me :irock: I was in the middle lane, 2 bikes on both sides and one up front.

They all pop a wheelee at the same time and take off and and I'm keeping up pretty good "they were not pushing it" we kept this formation for a while until we saw a car ahead.

Next episode was max out my speedometer.. I took off on a long straight stretch and the bikes beside me, I redline 5th at 230 km/h... 6th at just over 5500 I'm bouncing of 260 km/h then one of the bikes just took of like a rocket at this speed :OMG: .

we all slowed down after and they gave me thumps up and one guy clapped for me :clap: .

That's it? :lame: Fastest I've ever taken any car was 245kph. :shiftdrive:

I've driven through TO so I know what you're talking about on long deserted highways.

:lol: They definately weren't trying (as you stated). 600cc bikes can barely beat a 450rwhp 350Z...so, figure 1000cc bike vs. a (nearly) stock 350Z. They can do close-to, if not, 200mph.

Definately consider 1000cc bikes the best bang for your buck vehicle there is, ~9's in the 1/4 mile stock, and you can beat just about anything on the road stock.

Congrats on reaching 160+mph though! :clap:

Thanks :cheers: .It worked this time, it's so hard pushing the Z to this speed I've tried it several times and I can only manage 140 like SmoothZ, It was the right gear and right take off that got me to 160.

That was a night for GoingDeep's Z .. he definately would've gave them a run, I wish I was pushing 600 hp yesterday :banghead:


I think I'll do something stupid.. 600 hmmm

I'm tellin you! The roads are beyond shitty here, and any time that I wanna see speeds like that, people put their asses in front of you to prohibit it.

Drivers have zero common sense when it comes to seeing a car approach them at a higher rate of speed than they are traveling. Just today on the way to work, I come around a sweeping one-lane right hander, and some dumb broad in a BMW sees me in her rearview, and HITS HER BRAKES. No one in front of her. I guess her reaction to "slow me down" was to hit her brakes? Fuggin idiots..
