While I love my 350Z Roadster, I have way to much problems shifting the 6sp. I was wondering how a replacement shifter can make the trans shift better? It is still the same trans, but with a shorter shifter.
The short shifters are only going to make your shifting notchier and more difficult at times.
Try buying a weighted shift knob from Sparco, or the Z shift knob from www.zeetoyz.com . They might help a little, but if it's that big of a problem, then you need to go talk to your dealership and have it checked out.
a short shifter might make the shifting a little more troublesome for you, if those are your complaints about the stock setup.
If you do go with a short shifter, go with B&M, just be sure to use all the grease provided with the kit during your install, it'll make the world of difference. http://performancenissanparts.com/catalog/...products_id=856
