While I love my 350Z Roadster, I have way to much problems shifting the 6sp. I was wondering how a replacement shifter can make the trans shift better? It is still the same trans, but with a shorter shifter.

The short shifters are only going to make your shifting notchier and more difficult at times.

Try buying a weighted shift knob from Sparco, or the Z shift knob from www.zeetoyz.com . They might help a little, but if it's that big of a problem, then you need to go talk to your dealership and have it checked out.

I just installed my Mossy Adjustable Short Shifter. and i'm happy with it.

the 40% shorter give a stiffer shift, but u can adjust it to 20% longer than stock to give a easier shift. Plus you can leave it in stock too.

So you can adjust +20%, Stock, -20%, -40% :)

I prefer the stock shifter to all of the short shifters i have had installed on my Z...

I would change to a heavier shift knob if I were you thought. Either the GT Titanium or the Titanium Shaft shift knob.
