She's got every S-tune part and every R-Tune part, minus the front lip spoiler (no 06 yet), and floor mats (no 06 yet..lol). Volk TE-37 Gunmetal 19x10.5 w/ Potenza SO-3 285/30 rear and 19x9.5 245/35 front. Tinted, Zaino'd... done. What you see here is how the car was ordered and delivered through Nissan of McKinney.

Fantastic dealership. So far everything has been top-notch, A+++. The service guys are great. Very knowledgeable. I think every single person in the sales and service areas must have come by to congratulate me and tell me how everyone has been drooling over (not on) this car. :)

More to come when the weather improves…

I have to keep it under 5k for now… but you can feel that cam. It’s night and day from the test drives I’ve taken. But it’s smooth. It’s not a noisy motor. It’s all intake and exhaust…valvetrain noise is almost non-existant.

Ride is fantastic too. I was worried the suspension would be too harsh fort he wife but I think this is perfect.

The 1.5 LSD chatters at ya if you bring on the gas in the wrong gear. :) It makes for a humorous balance on city streets while I’m in break-in. But I can tell you that this car wants to be above 5k. I spun the tires twice on the way home and had no intention at all! Kinda neat really…you hear them spin but you don’t feel it. Car just keeps turning. :irock:

Lots more to come... while the rain soaks Dallas this weekend I'll be sitting in the garage putting the last 5 months of forum education to applied use. I've got a lot of Xmas presents waiting to go on as well (Fairlady emblem, Gtech Pro RR, etc.).

Cheers,

Thx everyone for the kind words! I'm lovin her. Now if the weather would cooperate. Go figure our 5 month drought ends today. :)

Endless: Right now I'm running on the ECU's ability to adjust. All of the Nismo R-Tune stuff is well within the ECU's range. But you're right...I'm sure an A:F test would reveal some hidden pockets of extra power. She's perfect right now though. Not going above 5k rpm yet but she pulls already!!

Thanks!!

The ECU's ability or range to adjust is primarily for emissions, not power. But, you have plenty of time to tune all that later.

Beautiful car! Did you get std Gunmetal, or Titanium Gunmetal?? Either way, you are my GM TE37 brother! :)

I didn't realize there was a Gunmetal distinction! But mine look exactly like yours, so I'd say they are the Ti Gunmetal. Very unique finish on these wheels. It's almost like Teflon! :) But they are just the most beautfiul wheels I've ever seen or owned.

And ya.. I meant the ECU is range to handle the mods...the OEM maps certainly aren't going to adapt and give more power. Wouldn't that be nice? :) Once she's broken in I'll be straight off to the dyno for a few pulls. When I see those numbers then I'm sure my mod-bug will kick in to have the car tuned.

Thx!

They do look like the Ti. GM.. It would say on the box they came in. (also maybe on the wheels) They were limited color in 2005.

You would have also got Limited Edition stickers to put on the wheel (if you wanted to.. i never did)

You are the only other person i have ever seen with them on a Z.. :) SO STAY OUT OF PA!! :jk:
