I've got a 05 Touring and the seat warmers are behaving strangely. They turn on and off ok but once I turn them on they only seem to heat for a few min then turn off (the light on the switch stays on but the heat stops). If I leave the switch turned on the heat will intermittantly turn on and off. Is this normal or do I need to get them repaired?

I'd take it in. Have them check the electricals. Should be easy enough for them to figure it out.

I noticed the same thing; I have a 04' Touring. It has just gotten cold enough in NC for me to use the seat warmers and your right mine also turn off and on. I have been too lazy to look it up in the manual, it might be normal operation??? I'll look it up tonight.

Terri would be correct.

There are 2 positions for the seat heaters (Low & High)
the design is to maintain a constant temp not an increasing temp.
If you find that the current setting is not hot enough turn it to the higher setting.

BTW - DO NOT leave the heater on if no one is sitting in the seat - you will burn out the elements & they are very $$$$ to replace.
