Have any of you swapped the factory seats out for an aftermarket set, Bride, Sparco etc.?

I am in the works of deciding which to buy but am concerned about two things, the airbag light coming on due to my seat side bags and getting the correct slider for the height which will be similar to the stock seats?

Any insite would be appreciated.

SmoothZ, there isn't anything stated about slider height or the air bag lights. I need to know the effect of unplugging the airbags from the seats and aslo if the height with aftermarket seats is greatly different than factory without all the tolt options.

Ah. I was just pointing you to the thread about aftermarket seats. I thought maybe there might be some info in there. Maybe you can PM some of the guys in that thread about it. :dunno:

i just added the leather seat covers even though u are looking at a seat replacement. what type are you looking for specifically, or any of them?

I think I would want to go with Cobra !! I had a set in another car and really liked them. but again, I am really concerned with having the airbag light come on in the dash without the seat bags plugged in.

I have the Sparco Monza's and they have rails and sliders for our cars. The height is equal to the stockers but I did not have side airbags. I sold my black leather for the sparco's.

Maybe you can bypass that light by removing the fuse? I wonder if removing the fuse would make that light stay on.
