Well, I got my Rotora BBK installed this past Saturday at Z1 Motorsports. Thanks to them for doing a great job on the install and special thanks to Tonio for keeping me company!! I purchased the kit from Greg at Injected Performance (thanks for a great deal and fast shipment!!). It came with four 355mm slotted/cross drilled rotors, 6 piston calipers (f), 4 piston calipers ®, and stainless steel brake lines.

So far the kit is awesome. You have to make sure and have your seatbelt on because the car will literally stop on a dime. The 14" rotors look great tucked behind my 19" Volks and I was surprised to see that the larger Rotora calipers had even better clearance then my OEM Brembos. It took a little bit of driving to get the pedal feel down but once I did driving has been great. The pedal feel and response is improved thanks to the stainless steel lines. The car comes to a halt very quickly and speed does not seem to matter. I have not really pushed the brakes hard for an extended period of time but I am positive that they will perform better at the track or on a mountain road (such as the Tail of the Dragon ).

My only complaint about the whole process was that I had to order an extra set of rear bolts for the rear Brembos I sold. Grubbs Infiniti had them in stock and I asked them to overnight ship them. They charged me $35 to overnight two bolts from TX to AL. Funny thing is that when I overnighted them to my buyer (in FL) shipping was only $13.65 for the same exact box. I guess charging $8 for a bolt wasn't enough profit for Grubbs so they had to make $20-$25 on my shipping.

I'm cleaned up the car tonight and I'm in the process of getting a new camera so hopefully I'll be posting some better pics tomorrow (these are a few Z1 took during the install). Thanks again to Injected Performance, Z1 Motorsports and 2003z (the powdercoating maniac).

Do you get a lot of rubbernecking or finger pointing?
The car attracts a good bit of attention but I haven't been driving it as much lately.. There aren't alot of higher end, modded imports in Huntsville. I'm trying to keep the miles down (not that I don't enjoy it on the weekends :shiftdrive: )
Nice!
Wow, those brakes look incredible. How do they feel now that you've had them on for a while?
****. That's focking sweet. Almost as sweet as that avatar.
Thanks for the compliments guys! I got a great deal on the brakes so I just couldn't pass them up!

I've been loving the brakes since I got them on. I normally don't drive excessively fast but I've given the brakes a few good tests slowing down from the 100-110 mph range and they are awesome. The car stops incredibly fast with a consistant pedal feel and zero fading. I have to make sure I always wear my seatbelt now because when you step on the brakes the car comes to an immediate halt. I get some funny looks from people when I'm still accelerating going up to a red light.

As far as looks go, I don't think this kit can be beat. The 14" slotted cross drilled rotors look great behind any wheel but especially if you had a more open (5 spoke for example) wheel. The red 6 & 4 piston calipers get everyone's attention especially when they're reflecting in the polished lip!

I would recommend the kit to anyone. It's a complete solution that offers great performance and hot looks!!

Thanks for the review. That is the exact setup I have on the way. My front kit is suppose arrive/be installed today. But, the rear's are on back order. Its funny you mention a five spoke wheel, because that's exactly what I have.

Looks hot....& like you said, great with the 'open wheels'!

You'll really like the brake performance and the added visual affect. I made the "open wheel" comment cause I was looking at some old pics of the car when I had the Challenges on before the Winnings. The brakes seem to show off alot more but I love the gold deep dish look of my Winnings now - decisions, decisions..

They look awesome. I have the same system you have but my car is still in the shop getting the APS TT installed so I have yet to feel how these brakes stop.

The car is a little dusty and I'm not a great photographer but here's a couple of pics with 5-spoke iForgeds.

The second photo is a darker shot where you can see the red reflection from the caliper on the lip of my rear wheel.

Do you still have your Brembo's?
What was your reasoning for going to the BBK since you had the Brembo's to begin with?

I think it looks :OMG: , just curious

I like the gold wheels better. Even if you can't see the BBK as good, it still looks great!
Im really digging your front bumper Baumer and your avatar of course!!
