Alright guys, for the past two days i have had a problem with my driver's side turning signal. When i hit the switch it will click once and stop, then the turning light will stay on ( but it will not flash but just stay on mind you). Now it doesn't do this everytime, but almost. I've only noticed this at night. I have no idea why it's doing this. I would really appreciate the help, thanks.

Federal motor vehicle standards require that drivers receive some kind of indication when a turn signal bulb burns out. With older mechanical flashers the flashing rate would increase. With newer electronic systems I'm not sure what the indications may be, and my Owners Manual doesn't specify.

First, check that both the right front and right rear turn signal bulbs are illuminating when you first activate the switch. If not, check the bulbs and replace if burned out. Check if this fixes your problem.

ALso activate the hazard warning switch and see if all 4 corners work.

If your problem isn't a burned out bulb, it probably is a bad Body Control Unit (BCU). The flasher is built into this unit. You will have to go to your dealer to diagnose the BCU, and a new replacement isn't cheap.
