Problems During Braking

i noticed this the other day and im not sure whats going on here but would like some inputs.. i have lowered my car with Eibachs, and have 19x8.5 volk gt7 with 245/25 rubber up front

Under heavy braking there is something going on that shouldnt be there. A strange noise can be heard .. sounds something like a mixture of rubbing, grinding, and/or a spring going "boing!" (lol not sure how to explain that sound).

Also i can feel this through the brake pedal.

I played in the car for a few minutes to dissect the problem. It appears to only happen when the front suspension gets compressed during braking..I tried braking hard through left and right turns and it does it still. but so if i am going pretty slow and hit the brakes, stopping the car immediately, the sound is not there.

I am not sure if it is the cold weather doing this, something has come loose, something is rubbing, or what.

i am *hoping* this is tire rubbing something.

please help!

Yeah, you've got some stuff going... Did you get the correct offset on your Volks?

I'd jack her up and pull the front wheels to see where things are binding up.
I had the spring boing noise during some ABS type stops during car control exercises at a track day right at the end of the stop. I was using stock 18's/springs and 13" Stoptechs on the front at the time. Confused me but I haven't investigated since then.
hey thats exactly what this sounds like... hmmm i need more time to investigate
 I had some sort of *creek* or *pop* sound when I had Eibachs...Took them off and the sound went away...
daking what do u have on your car now, since u took off the eibachs?
well i think the eibachs are the root problem here, so i may be tossing them soon for a full coilover setup..
no sounds here......... but no eibachs here niether
