i installed a kinetix plenum on my car, and i noticed that the strut bar still rubs against the plenum even though there is a groove for it. it causes the sound of the engine to get louder and you can feel the rubbing vibration thru the steering wheel and while the car is shifing.
what is the solution for this problem...which a lot of people did experience?
I bought a kinetix plenum too but was advised not to put it on since they crack eventually...............specially woth my nitrous set up. So now its seating in my garage!
you mean crack by itself???
even if it doesnt rub against the strut
i mean it eventually breaks on its own?

There have been no problems with V4.The older ones cracked by the 2 holes on top.V4 eliminated them.To answer your question all you have to do is adjust your strut bar so it bows up a little more till you have enough clearance.
Ditto here. Mine was installed by Eric in StreetImage & he used a spacer half the thickness supplied by Kinetix. He also made some adjustment on the left nut of the strut bar to bend it up. Use 2 clay balls & put them on the highest point of the plenums then close your hood to also test if it is rubbing. Just adjust the ends of the strut to curve a little more. Have had my V4 for 7 mos. w/ no problems. It's unfortunate that some people had problems earlier. However, it looks like they have resolved the issues & have backed it up w/ great customer service & a life time warranty. I have both plenum & high flows. Best performance gain for the bucks for all the mods I've invested in so far!!!
The simplest method is to install some washers under the strut base mounting points which will raise the whole strut bar - From memory I have 2 washers under the front 2 bolts and 1 washer under each of the rear bolts
