What do you guys think about the Niso suspension kit. I was thinking about purchasing the kit along with the sway bars but didn't know how it compared to other suspension kits. I plan on doing some auto-x and drifting.

One of the only things I dont understand with the nismo kit is they say failure to install all required parts on VDC-equipped models may result in the system not operating properly.

What is VDC?

1) Look in the Suspension/Brakes section you'll find more then you ever wanted to know about this stuff. You can search "Nismo suspension" and find lots of topics.

2) You can do as well or better for less money.. after you compete # 1

3) Vehicle Dynamic Control ... a stability control program I believe it comes standard only on the Track model. When Nimso first released this suspension they recommended that you have the complete package... Nismo wheels,swaybars,and suspension in order to function correctly with VDC. I don't know if that is still the case.

I finally got my '04 350Z back after having installed the Nismo Shock and Spring Kit. Now the car handles like it should. I just had the Nismo wheels and sway bars before and I could scrape the front bumper on hard turns. Not now. Finally, a true sports car.

:bump: for NourZ. As stated in other posts, you can get Hotchkis for less and everyone I know with the Hotchkis is very happy.

Several of the vendors on this site have been selling them like hotcakes!

I was looking at the nismo ones (SCCA) spec, and tried sourcing out the sizes of the hotchkis ones. I'm curious if they are hollow or solid bars, and exact metal is being used (tensile strength)

I have no complaints about my hotchkis sways... I wouldnt do the Nismo coilovers though. Non-adjustable height is my big complaint.
