Well my first performance mod and wow what a good one. I couldn't be happier. Even though my gas mileage is gone to crap now I love it. It's all the good things that everyone says about it and more. The sound is amazing and you can actually have a conversation when you not on the throttle, the second you left off it's quite again. Sounds like stock when not giving it gas but when on it, it screams. Like stock but deeper, perfect sounding if you ask me.
I will tell you that I have not heard any other exhaust so i don't have anything to compare it to but I can't image anything that sound better than this.
Also the shine of the tips and muffler is amazing, I highly recommend. I am installing my Nismo CAI tomorrow I can't wait.

As for the power gains, honestly I never drive my car, it stays in the garage. It always feels so much faster after driving my truck (99 Chevy S10 2.2L and yes it's a 4 cly :D ) but the power gains in the upper RPM range seem to be better but I can't say for sure. It's worth it for the sound a looks alone.

Here are some pics, let me know what you guys think

Not a huge differnce but I would say yes. I hardley ever drive my car so it always fells fast to me

However,

I installed the CAI today and holy sh!+, the sound and power is amazing. I have had CAI on other cars before so I knew what is sound like but the way this exhaust and CAI sounds together on the Z is freaking amazing. If you have been considering this before just DO IT, you will love it. I can defenitely tell a gain in the upper RPM range, it's absolutely AWESOME!!!!
Here are some pics, enjoy.

You are right! I have always been tempted to switch out my JWT Pop Charger for the Nismo CAI but I was scared to loose some HP's. What do you guys think its better the Nismo CAI or the JWT Pop Charger. Can I hear a sound clip of the CAI NIsmo.......plz anyone?

Sorry I have no way of doing a sound clip but all I can tell you is it's freaking awesome sounding. I can't compare it to JWT, never heard it or never seen it before, sorry man.

The Nismo Exhaust IMO is the best exhaust available for the 350Z. I've installed others for friends Stillen, Tanabe, and others. Too many adjustments or not quite fit issues.:rolf2: It's fit and quality is far better than anything I've seen. I've been running one on my 05 Anniversary Edition along with a slew of other Nismo parts and you just can't beat the fit or the finish. Sound is just as it should be, not too loud and not to soft. Load the accelerator and BAM, the sound of horsepower. I'd be running FI if they had it available. I can't wait till I get my Nismo body parts and shocks. Anyone know where I can get a Nismo ECU!??? :irock:

You definitely made the right choice here!! :yourock:

Cheers

I have a Roadster, and it's my daily driver (I love California). I would love to toss on the Nismo CAI and exhaust, but I'm worried that the sound would be too powerful for a daily driver... especially with the top down.

So here's a quick question that you guys have already touched on... I know it roars when you floor it... but how is it under normal city driving? Standard throttle? For example... is it setting off car alarms in parking garages? :)

The sound of the NISMO is subdued during regular driving. Not much more than the standard exhaust, but with a pronounced deeper tone. With the CAI it is still has a low DB with a more pronounced intake note. Nothing to make it irritating to you or you passenger with the top down. It's just a good clean sound!! :irock:

Cheers
