I have been reading about all of the issue's with feathering and tires and I recently bought a 03 Z with 13,000miles...I haven't noticed any loud tire growl or hum and the tires look good to me, but everyone says that feathering on the 03 is inevitable...How long does it take before it is obvious, how bad is it, and what is it that I hear about a tire warranty extention/who's eligible
?

If you have 13,000 miles, the original tires, and the correction described in the TSB has not been performed, then you do not have the problem. My tire roar came at around 6,000 miles, I got new tires under warranty, an alignment, and the drift right condition corrected with a new connecting rod. I am just over 12k miles now and the roar has not returned and my tires are not cupping.
