I am migrating over from a certain other forum. Tired of the forum being down for TWO+ DAYS STRAIGHT, and I really like the tech articles here!
Drive a 1.5 week old Daytona Blue 04 Enthus Coupe (God I love that car) with 1700 miles.
I am in the process of installing a nice sound system. Kenwood MP919 Head Unit, Hifonics Zeus 1000D (1000 Watts RMS) 6400 ([email protected] ohms RMS) amps, 0 guage power, Crystal CSC 60S front and rear, Elemental Designs eD 12.22 A in a fiberglass understrut box (current project, PITA), and Sirius.
BTW I love the car.
Also within a few days I have experienced seat clicks and gas filling problems, its in the shop as I type trying to get healed (I hope it all goes well, I dont like dealer service stations, but so far, Round Rock Nissan has done very well).
But I still love the car.
Anyhoo, I saw my first 05 Mustang on the road today. Not bad looking. Really gritty if you know what I mean. Very muscle car. Doesn't look like it could hang on the track, but I bet it hurts in a straight line and I imagine the chicks dig it.
I was in a rental truck (that almost got me killed earlier... wtf silverado ext cab turn radius is 5 times that of the Z) and of course I couldnt race him. Too bad, it looks like a good race.
Definitly an improvement over the trashy looking older Stang IMO. (No offense to Stang drivers )
I still Love and prefer the Z. No regrets yet, except the **** seat clicks and gas filling problems on a two week old 04. Hope the dealer can fix em!
