The last time I dynoed it did 267hp and 234tq at the wheels. The best part is that the cams flattened out the torque curve, so from 4000rpm to 6500 it only drops about 5lb/ft. and HP doesnt start to level off untill 6700. My typical quarter mile times are 13.3's to 13.4's @ 104. Traction is a big problem in first gear but it is still possible get 2.1 60' My best ever run was a 13.28 @ 104.76, 8.82 1/8 th mile @ 83.74 I have not been able to do that since. This was at Houston Raceway Park in 97 degree air and high humidity.

Really wow the 3.9 gears really lowered your time alot!!

Before the gears the typical times were 13.6 - 13.7's at about 101. The gears made a huge difference. But remember, my Z is a 5AT. So the gears make a biger difference then they do on the 6MT cars. 3.9 gears are by far the best mod I have done. I think it is important to have other supporting mods to get the full benefit of the gears. Such as 7100 RPM rev limit, full exhaust, HFC/test pipes, headers and a good tune. And the cams help for sure.

That is shifting manual at 6500 (the actual gear change happens at 7000 due to the delay of the transmission). A GTM valve body upgrade will help this. If you leave it in drive it will shift too early. With the stock rev limit and 3.9 gears, with mods that make good high RPM power, it will actually on occasion hit the rev limit before it shifts.
