I recently installed a JL 10W6V2 in a custom under-strut tower box. I have been trying to dynamat all the places that I hear rattling, and have been successfull except for one place....on top of the rear hatch, where the long thin brake light is.

How hard is it to remove the plastic pieces from the light assembly and rear hatch to install dynamat on the area?

Make sure that rattle isn't your toolkit for replacing the tire, it's a well known rattlle in the rear hatch.

pretty easy.. there are just pop-type fasteners.. you will need to get ahold of it pretty well and yanky fairly hard.. becareful not to crack anything.
