Got 'em as expected. It was a quick little car though. Probably had a few things done to it. Lucky we could race. There are only two lane highways in my area (CT) and they are busy most of the time.

I would think that a Z could smoke those little boogers.

Probably really quick because of its weight, and the Z isnt the fastest on the straightaways, but yea you definetly should have beat him. good thing you did!

Somehow I knew Chris would come back with that kind of response. :lmfao:

With that kind of curb wt, I knew they would be somewhat quick. However, the Z's torque should give a pretty decent launch compared to the Mazda.

Yeah, umm.. dunno about that on. This thing is FWD, remember? lollll

.89g is respectable. And imo, possible in the Mazdaspeed version. A lot of it has to do with good tires. Being that it light weight, helps out.

On a side note... I can pull 1.05 in the Z easy. :) Skid pad or breaking g's.

Yeah, I'd think the tires have a lot to deal with the high skidpad figures, since the car is very light. But it is most definately not the optimal setup balance-wise to pull nice laterals.

You probably dont know this but the mazdaspeed protege is the best handling fwd car for sale in the states. The stock sway bars are massive!

I always see one of those things out in the parking lot at work and wanted to run him but have never had the chance.
