I spent last weekend (3/27-28/04) on the track at Spring Mountain Raceway in Pahrump (great name, eh?), Nevada, with a group called RacerFactory.com. It was a terrific event. I got a total of 10 runs of 25 minutes each. The instructors were good, the event well-organized, and it is a great and challenging track.

I was the only 350Z there. There was one G35 Coupe 6MT. Most of the cars were Audis and VWs, with about 6 Porsches, 3 Ferraris, a WRX STi, an RX8, a Mazdaspeed 3, and a few Mini Cooper S.

I did good. I passed a 911, and kept another race-prepped 911 at bay, so he never could catch and pass me. Great fun was had by all.

Thanks again for posting all the pics from Spring Mountain Raceway in Nevada, event held March 27-28, 2004. You gotta check out the pics of the Radicals and the green Lola. The Corvettes and Camaros that are all lined up did not run that weekend. They belong to the racetrack and are used for a high performance driving school. The yellow Lotus Esprit V8 did not run either. It belongs to the track owner, and he said he never takes it on the track, it is just for "going out to dinner." He drove the Lola (although that is one of the Radical owners sitting in the Lola in my pics).
