I just added my vinyl guage pod overlays. Since my car is PPW with Frost interior, I have decided that every mod will be of a polished aluminum to keep the original theme, so here are some pics of the pods with the overlays - I am also doing the door barrels but have not gotten them done yet.

To do it right you must remove the center instrument console out of the car. this way you have space to apply the overlays.

Not a bad looking mod for $15!

It is not hard at all, takes about 15 minutes on a 6MT.

Wow! Another PPW with frost interior! Thanks for the ideas, Pete! That looks really good and subtle. Do you have any reflection problems from that overlay?

No relfection, from above they are shiney, from the drivers seat you barely notice them and at night they picup some of the guage's amber glow (looks neat!)

Bat just shipped my PPW overlays for the A & B pillars. I'll post pics when they're on. :irock:

I can't understand why we'd need to remove the cover to install these. How does that make it easier? You moisten them, and then get them adjusted?
