So after the C&C meet in my area MN I got pumped :fart2: to keep working on new things/ refining my Z. One thing I want to do is get new tires, I've been prolonging this for too long.

Don't know too much about tires, but i'm trying to put 285's if not 275's on the back, can someone give me advice on what I can go with.

Are those 18's or 19's on the back? I've got 275 on my 18x10 wheels.

Well it looks like you have the OEM wheels on the car, and if you do then there is not much you can do as far as going up in sizes.

You will need to get new wheels. The most popular upgrade being 245 tire up front and 275 tire out back. These work on 8.5 and 9.5 wheels respectively from my recollection.

There is a ton of information out there, I would take a look at peoples cars that you like and ask what they did. Pretty much every tire size and wheel combination had been done on these cars.

They are 18's dave, I believe the width of the OEM's differ from the front to back...so 18x8.0 front and 18x8.5 in the back! Ceberus, yea thats what I hear so I guess I'll be looking for 275's; my 245 Perellis wore out and I just put some 225's I got for free in the back, but they slip too much from time to time..

I guess i'll look around for an affordable & good pair.

Buy my wheels....lol :jk:

You should look for some wider wheels to fit the kit you have on there. I think 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 would look great.
